By accessing and using the services provided by Comfort Opia Home ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Comfort Opia Home provides comprehensive home maintenance and renovation services including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, HVAC services, painting, carpentry, flooring, roofing, landscaping, appliance repair, handyman services, water damage restoration, and kitchen and bathroom remodeling. All services are provided in accordance with applicable California state and local regulations.
All work performed by Comfort Opia Home is subject to a written service agreement that outlines the scope of work, materials, timeline, and pricing. No work will commence without a signed agreement and any required deposits. Changes to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges.
All prices quoted are estimates based on the information provided and are subject to change upon inspection of the actual work site. Payment terms will be specified in the service agreement. We accept various forms of payment including cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as specified in the service agreement.
We stand behind our work and provide warranties on labor and materials as specified in individual service agreements. Warranty periods vary depending on the type of work performed. Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or acts of nature. All warranty claims must be reported promptly and in writing.
Comfort Opia Home carries appropriate liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for damage to personal property that is not directly related to our work activities. Customers are responsible for securing valuable items and ensuring access to work areas.
Service appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. For larger projects, cancellation terms will be specified in the individual service agreement.
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to work areas. We reserve the right to refuse service if working conditions are deemed unsafe. Customers are responsible for removing personal items from work areas and ensuring that pets are secured during service visits.
When required, Comfort Opia Home will obtain necessary permits for work performed. Customers are responsible for any homeowner association approvals or special permits that may be required. All work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes and regulations.
Any disputes arising from our services will first be addressed through direct communication. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be subject to mediation or arbitration as specified in the service agreement. All disputes will be governed by California state law.
We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding your property and personal information. Information collected during service provision is used solely for the purpose of completing the requested work and maintaining customer records.
These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. Customers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
